ELVIS' 22-YEAR-OLD GRANDDAUGHTER RILEY KEOUGH, daughter of Lisa Marie, is engaged to actor Alex Pettyfer, Us reports.. The couple, who have been dating for a “lengthy” six months, were last spotted having lunch in Los Angeles and Keough was wearing a rock on her ring finger.
(For the record, it doesn't look like an engagement ring to me.)
Riley met the former 21-year-old Burberry model Pettyfer on the set of the Stephen Soderbergh filmMagic Mike in which he plays a stripper.
Pettyfer has a reputation around Hollywood for being "intense" and has dated a bevy of beauties including Number Four co-star Dianna Agron to whom he was reportedly engaged. But when you're young and crazy; relationships easily fall apart and reports surfaced that after the couple broke up, Agron stayed at a hotel under another name because she was terrified of Pettyfer.
The young Brit actor also dated Julia Roberts' niece Emma Roberts and has a "Emma' tattoo on his ring finger.
When Emma Roberts was asked why the two broke up, she told Sugar Magazine: "You know it's hard when you have a relationship that's amazing then the other persona deliberately does things to hurt you." She also gave girls a piece of advice: "Do not date a model. Ever."
Of course Keough, 22, herself has had a couple of previous romances -- most notably with musician Ryan Cabrera and Moneyball's Jonah Hill.
The young couple have not announced their engagement yet although Pettyfer tweeted: "I'm very happy in my personal life. Let's leave it at that" shortly after the report broke. In today's world does that count as official?
I wish the happy couple nothing but the best but if Keough follows Lisa Marie's footsteps (she's now on marriage four), Vegas odds are not in her favor.
There is another thing about Pettyfer that just bugs the hell out of me. Would I allow my daughter to date or marry someone that has a tattoo right above his crotch? I ask the mothers of America: would you let your daughter marry someone who has “Thank you” tattooed just above his Johnson?
