THIS NEWS TAKES THE CAKE: Kim Kardashian was flour-bombed in the lobby of the London Hotel in West Hollywood hotel last night while touting her new fragrance line.

Deputies were called to North San Vicente Boulevard just before 8 p.m. Thursday evening. A mystery woman who allegedly threw powder on Kardashian was also shouting "Fur Hag." A spokesman for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals tells TMZ. "It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene."

The group says it has "tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not." 

Doesn't Peta usually throws red paint and could this have been (gasp!) possibly staged? Kardashian filed a lawsuit against claiming that a mannequin that resembled her but she does not press charges for someone attacking her ? It really wouldn't surprise me to hear that the whole scenario was set up by the Kardashian publicity machine in hopes of people buying her new perfume out of sympathy.  Look at her in her leather pants -- perfect for easy cleaning -- and dressed like a church marm instead of the usual curves-enhancing garb. When ratings are down it's amazing what you will do to get the buying public back in your court.

Gomez says Kardashian refused to press charges against the woman and a non-criminal battery report was taken. Paramedics were also called to the hotel, but Kardashian would not accept medical treatment. The fire department examined the powder for any possible danger and in the end they determined it was simply cooking flour. Apparently Kardashian returned to her room, removed the powder from her hair and clothing and journeyed back to the event like the brave trooper she is.

What a total wasted day of makeup for Kim!
