MY SON USED TO COLLECT BEANIE BABIES AND ONCE TOLD ME that these stuffed animals would pay for his college education. Twenty years later, all these creatures still still on the shelves in his childhood room gathering dust; Mom and Dad paid for his education.
This morning after viewing this Beanie Babies recreation of the box office record setting movie “The Hunger Games,” I finally know what I can do with them all.
Jeff Luppino-Esposito, Jamie T. McCelland, and their crew created this clip together forThe Online Musical, a site "dedicated to producing interactive, online musical theater content," according to the group's official website.
In this YouTube creation, Katniss is played by Rocket the Blue Jay and Peeta is none other than Quackers the Duck.
My only complaint is using my beloved Princess Diana Bear as President Snow. I wonder how the late people's princess would feel playing Donald Sutherland's part. Of course, Sutherland is actually Canadian so it's all in the British Commonwealth one might say.
According to the disclaimer, the clip contains Beanie Baby violence and gore but does mention no TY tags were harmed during the film. Of course Beanie babies being set on fire is quite hilarious but I have one complaint. There just wasn't enough shaky "cam" like the film. :)
